(1) There will be a District Coordinating Committee in each district to coordinate the actions taken by the authorities in the earthquake-affected areas. Representing the Federal Parliament will be members of parliament, chief district officers and local development officers of the respective districts.

(3) The coordinator of the district coordination committee sub-section (2) will be elected from among the parliamentarians of Bamojim according to the Nepali alphabetical order of names every six months.< br> (4) Subsection (1) The work, duties and powers of the District Coordination Committee of Bamojim shall be as follows:-
(a) Coordinating the actions taken by the authority,
(b) To monitor the actions taken by the authority,
(c) To review the actions taken by the authority,
(d) To recommend for action if the officials or employees in the district related to the work of the authority do anything contrary to this Act.
(e) To perform other tasks as specified.
(5) For the purpose of sub-section (4), the district coordination committee may invite officials, women and social workers of any agency in the district to the committee as required.
